Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Proficient in all functions of an Installer
• Ability to supervise and direct the work of 10+ technicians
• Provides guidance and direction to technicians at work site
• Participates in site manpower planning as required
• Manages material and labor through job completion
• Supervises projects as assigned by management
• Demonstrates thorough understanding of cabling standards
• Responsible for all LINX project related asset management and asset tracking
• Assumes leadership role with groups and projects
• Ensures accurate completion of time cards
• Utilize computer skills to prepare required reports and communications
• Manages change orders and other administrative requirements
• Maintain daily site journal
• Performs work within time parameters
• Ensure compliance with all HR, Safety, and company policies and procedures
• Ensures that all technical, quality, profitability objectives are met while maintaining top level customer satisfaction
• Account coordination responsibility including customer interaction, invoicing, & collections assistance
• Maintains professional internal working relationships with other staff members

Leadership

• Ability to delegate efficiently
• Demonstrate commitment to customer and LINX
• Understanding of project planning
• Working knowledge of LINX Project Delivery Processes
• Ability to follow project processes & prepares in advance for deadlines
• Basic knowledge of HR policies (e.g. incident reporting)
• Strong communication skills (Written & Oral)
• Understands staffing & scheduling requirements
• Creates & coordinates status reports
• Actively communicates with customers
• Ability to coordinate & work with other trades
• Involvement in company activities & meetings
• Demonstrates ability to exceed customer expectations
• Demonstrates ability to teach and grow subordinates

Technical

• BICSI certified Installer Level 1
• Installer Level 2 BICSI certified & Level 1 OJT (Preferred)
• Mastery of most tools & equipment required
• Ability to write change orders w/o mistakes
• Quality control
• Advanced ability to interpret Scope of Work & Bill of Materials
• Familiar with MS Project & Excel
• Basic computer skills
• Broad knowledge of construction process
