Making an Impact:

As a direct result of LINX’s performance, VISA has designated LINX to be the company's KEY VENDOR, for voice and data network infrastructure services nationwide.
Account Overview & Scope:

The LINX team has supported VISA, a world leader in Credit Card Services, for more than 4 years.  During that time we have designed and implemented a wide variety of project work, managed the data center helpdesk, CADD, ongoing MAC support, controlled on-site inventory, and directed several major projects on each coast.   LINX has managed over 120 projects for VISA during which we have installed over 1,000,000 feet of fiber optic cable, 20,000 feet of cable tray, 500 cabinets, and over 3,000,000 feet of Category 6 cable.

LINX has managed numerous VISA projects in Denver in the past 4 years in administration offices, and a data centers with over 65,000 square feet of usable space.  LINX has designed, installed, and supported VISA’s SAN & WAN infrastructures, Outside Plant Campus Fiber projects, and provided connectivity for well over 120 rows of network cabinets.
As a part of our nationwide support, LINX has recently completed a major lab migration project for VISA in Foster City, CA.  As part of decommissioning a data center, LINX worked with the client to identify what functionality needed to remain active and coordinated the effort to build a reflection of the infrastructure needed to manage the lab.

One key “value add” item that LINX provided to VISA is the design and management of an on-site inventory stock package.  This has increased ramp time for projects, dramatically cut down helpdesk ticket resolution times, and drastically reduced unnecessary freight cost from quick turn projects.
Increasing Efficiency:

LINX has staffed help desk personnel for trouble ticket resolution and ongoing MAC work at VISA.  We have been able to cut response times to help desk tickets by 70%
